This recliner is in good condition with one of the seat springs beginning to sag, but otherwise it is very comfortable and the wood is in very good shape with some finish deterioration. I added an easily removable leather strap to limit the angle of recline because this recliner like most current recliners did not have a middle position and I wanted to be able to keep the chair in a moderately reclined position. In the middle position one can read without going fast to sleep. The strap is secured using marine grade stainless fasteners so it will stay easy to select a middle or a fully reclined as long as the new owner desires. The strap is a high quality leather belt so simply releasing it’s buckle is all that is required to move from middle to fully reclined position.
