Beautiful rare pair of Victorian beaded and needlework antique fire face screens. Early to mid 1800s. Needlework with glass beads. Brass hanger. Back is silk. In excellent condition for their age. There may be a bead missing here or there, but nothing that stands out. I included pictures of a couple spots where a bead or two is missing. The shield itself is about 9“ x 6.5“. The fringe is 2” long. The brass hanger and handle is 18.5” x 9”. I’m not sure what the handles are made of, but each handle is cracked a little as pictured. Matching pairs of this style or not often found. They were used to screen your face from the heat of the fireplace. Porch pick up or will ship for shipping cost.
