Great condition like new The Canon Canonet QL17 GIII, also known as the Canonet G-III 17, was first manufactured by Canon in 1972 and produced until 1982. It's a 35 mm film camera with a fixed focal length, coupled-rangefinder, and leaf shutter. The camera has fully shutter-priority automatic exposure and manual shooting modes. It also has a battery check button on the viewfinder eyepiece and a lamp that lights when the battery is still good. The Canonet QL17 GIII is considered one of the best-selling fixed lens rangefinders ever made, with over 1.2 million units sold. It's comparable in size to the Leica CL but without interchangeable lenses. Some say the camera's popularity was due to its low price when it was released.
