Pre-owned Dormeyer Mixer, Model SM12 CH. 115 volt / 150 watts. This is a working vintage mixer which includes two bowls and two beaters. A special and rare find! This is a vintage Dormeyer Power Chef stand mixer in excellent working condition, with a beautiful chrome finish and black and white bakelite accent parts. It was made in Chicago by Dormeyer Corporation in the 1950's. It is Model number SM 12 CH, with 150 Watts of power, running on 115 Volts, A.C. or D.C., Included are 2 original stainless steel bowls (6" and 8 1/2"), 2 original stainless beaters, and the original cord. It has 10 speeds. No meat grinder attachment! The beater position can be adjusted for the small or large bowl by grasping the chrome stem and The mixer comes apart to be used as a hand mixer simply by tilting back and lifting it off the stand. The bowls sit in a metal turntable which spins freely and will rotate on its own when in use. (Beaters can be adjusted to a slightly higher position if you want to rotate the bowl manually.) There's also a handy measurement chart on the back side of the steel speed adjustment plate. The mixer stands about 12" tall and the base measures 12" long 8 1/2" wide. It weighs about 12 pounds. Great working condition, does have some pitting around the bottom of the hand mixer, a few light scratches from use and age. This is a special and rare find!
