Description

Towa 339 80mm Achromatic Refractor Astronomical Telescope sitting atop the original German Equatorial mount. With an objective lens of 80mm and a focal length of 1200 mm this vintage achromat is a awesome example of a "long focus" f/15 refractor. The tripod has the original rubber feet ( 1 pieces missing) and the rack and pinion micro focusing wheels are metal, not plastic, indicating this telescope was manufactured during the Golden Age of Japanese optical fabrication perfection. Used need Some TLC. Some missing parts.. defitnetly needs TLC from someone who knows more than me.. Please see pics. First picture is just an example... ill take better pics in the day light tomorrow
