Unit was on homes for two years before complete system was changed over. At that time the unit was stored in a very clean workshop for the next 3 years. This unit is in great working condition. With only 2 years of use stop. It does take the R22 which is no longer made but is still available through most air-conditioned services and companies. This unit has another kid 18 years of life.
