Description

This is an original artwork, not a print. Handmade by a young Black mixed-media artist, this piece reflects resilience, struggle, healing, and transformation through layered texture and bold color. Size: 48 x 68 inches Medium: Acrylic + texture mediums on stretched canvas Time Invested: 8 weeks of hand work and development Exhibited: Displayed at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) Teen Program This piece carries a personal narrative and represents both the beauty and complexity of the Black experience the mess, the rebuilding, and the strength that rises from it. The process itself is part of the art. I am selling this piece for $5,000. The funds will directly support me as an emerging Black artist and help finance my college education, as I pursue becoming a licensed art therapist using art to help others heal. If you are looking to invest in original art with meaning, history, and emotional depth, this is an opportunity to support both the art and the artist.
