The track pad is very sensitive and has touch to click turned on, but also has a feature to turn it off if needed. Has up to date virus and malware protection installed, as well as chrome, and Microsoft Excel. It would be perfect for someone new to computers because Windows XP is very straight forward and easy to use. I am willing to set this computer up to do anything you want, and make any programs you expect to use regularly easily accessible from your desktop.
