Vintage Japanese Hibachi Coffee Table

Beautiful antique Japanese Hibachi "coffee" table. Lovely wood. Storage spaces in top are copper lined (traditional) - 2 smaller spaces have wood tops & the center has perspex so it is less breakable. Could easily be switch out for glass if you preferred. These tables were traditionally used as heat sources or for cooking - adding hot coals to the copper lined storage. Now makes for a unique coffee table conversation piece. 4 small drawers on each side below the table top. In fairly good condition with normal signs of age & wear that enhance its authentic appearance. A few cracks and some scratches consistent with it's age. Measurements - 47"long X 27" wide X18" high Please no real lowballs.
