222nd Gentleman Jim Daily driver for 8 years. Purchased in California in 2015, delivered by flatbed to Greensboro in February 2022. Truck was originally purchased in Sacramento, then went to auction, then I bought it from a used RV dealer outside Los Angeles. VIN number indicates it is the 222nd Jim ordered. I believe the original owner primarily used it for hauling a camper judging by the wiring, rear bumper and rust. Odometer was 89,000 at time of purchase, not sure of the accuracy. Currently at 26,000 odometer roll over. It’s been my daily driver since I purchased it, and still going strong every day. He’s good looking with everything original, but needs someone who can do him justice. Seems to be one of the few I’ve seen without extensive cosmetic changes. I had no idea about the history of the Gentleman Jim when I purchased it. It’s one of the few I’ve seen online in better condition and have done my best to keep him there. At this point, I think he deserves better. I’m a carpenter by trade, so I’ve had a bunch of first time mechanic experiences working on my truck with the help of seasoned professionals.
