Neither of us ski'd or snowboarded, but when we bought sleds we suddenly had a community, something very exciting to do every weekend, a nice low-impact form of exercise that was super amazing fun, and the source of a gazillion hours exploring and riding in serene and beautiful place most people never see. We are very sad to be leaving this part of our life behind, but my health has taken a turn for the worse and I simply can't do it anymore.  We're happy to give you all the advice and lessons we have learned. We joined the Mt Hood Snowmobile Club, and they are an awesome bunch of people. We went everywhere from Mt. Hood to Crater Lake to just about anywhere you can think of that has snow and a mountain. What a blast! This package is everything you need for 2 of you to take up and have a blast snowmobiling. We are also throwing in some gear that we have collected that is essential to riding and owning sleds. Comes with transport cover.) $450 Snowmobile Tilt Trailer - Includes Tie-Down bars, New Spare Tire, new wiring harness - $750 2 BRP BVS Heated Helmets - These helmets are TRULY top-of-the-line, best-you-can-get-helmets. Size L and XL. Features include rear light, heated no-fog and no-ice visors, they are full-face helmets but open to full face with one easy button. Helmet bags for both, as well as additional install or usage hardware. These helmets are a must-have, they totally changed our riding experience and made it so much more pleasant in wet, snowy or ice-y riding. They are pricey, over $525 each brand new, and were worn about 3 or 4 times. They work with just about every brand of accessory - $375 each.  Additional Equipment: Cobra Pull-out Cable - This is an essential piece of gear used for pulling out a snowmobile when buried or stuck, by hand or with another sled. We have used it tons, and it works great. ($75 value) - A set of storage dollies for each sled (2) - These caster units go under the skis and track, and make rolling your sled around in your garage during summer storage a breeze. 2 x $50 each = $100)
