You do not have to have a large room. The concept is to circulate as much air as possible to purify it as fast as possible. The more circulation, the better. Go big or go home. From whisper-quiet on the lowest fan speed to sucking tons of air on high speed, this purifier has dual sensors for VOCs as well as dust and other toxins in the air. It can automatically ramp up and down the fan speed if you elect to use the automatic mode. You can program it to turn off the automatic mode at night and simply run on a lower speed since you don't want an air purifier awaking you with a noisy fan. Limitless amounts of simple scheduling (easy programming) can be done to incorporate sleep time, dim or shut off the LED lighting display during certain unwanted times, instruct the sensors not to ramp the fan up for VOCs at certain times of day or night, etc. Do your research. There is no better unit in the marketplace that has all of the bells and whistles this does, and moves the amount of air it does with the patented "air spiraling" design. The very unique design really works. Its latest design incorporates smart sensors, WiFi, and total remote control over an app (whether you are sitting next to it or 2,500 miles away on vacation and want to turn it on a day before you get back home).
