Description

Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera Model 2 is in a nice pre-owned condition. I’ve tested the mechanics, replaced the corroded leather, cleaned the glass, and replaced the shutter button. It’s in a great condition & everything opens and latches as it should. That being said, it does have some issues: The light meter doesn’t meter correctly and tends to over expose the images but this can be offset using an ND filter (I shot two test packs of film this morning using an ND4 filter and found good exposures but would probably recommend using an ND2 filter). The other instance is that occasionally the shutter misfires and needs to be pressed again to close the mirror and over exposes the image. It’s an old camera and requires some patience.
