Almost Cost Me My Life – Buyer Beware!
I bought a $7,700 car here on 7/18/25, and less than two weeks later it almost caused a serious accident on the freeway. The motor mounts and both control arms are shot, I was quoted $2–3k (or more) just to make it safe to drive.

Honestly, I probably wouldn’t even be leaving this review if Ted had handled this situation professionally. But when I called for help, he yelled, “It’s your problem now,” and refused to do anything. He even admitted his mechanic had worked on the car before selling it, yet still wouldn’t help, trade, or offer any solution.if ted is a man of God he would do the right thing.

I completely understand that used cars can have issues, but this isn’t a minor problem, it’s dangerous, and the car was already overpriced. The lack of honesty, empathy, and basic professionalism is shocking. If you value safety and respect, stay far away from this place.            TIP:CHECK UP HIS YIELP REVIEWSUpdate 8/29/2025
Shame on me? For leaving my honest experience? The car just got fixed by another honest mechanic that I’ve known for years. I just spent a lot to get it running safely.

The truth is the car I purchased from you turned out to be a lemon. It’s also clear YOUR mechanic fernando wasn’t interested in providing an honest evaluation, makes me believe he’s in cahoots with you. I gave you a chance to make things right and you were rude and started yelling. I have no reason to leave a dishonest review only to warn others of my experience so they don’t end up in the same situation.

I recently purchased a Hyundai Elantra from The Lot Auto Sales, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, Ted was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. The buying process was smooth. The pricing was fair, and overall I am happy with my purchase! I’ve had the car for a few weeks now and it’s running smoothly. I highly recommend The Lot Auto Sales and will be returning when I am ready to buy a new car!!

Buyer beware with this dealership!  Young adult daughter bought her first car from here and the MOMENT her truck left the lot it needed $1,500 worth of work but was told by his mechanic it was a solid purchase prior to the sale. So DESPITE what the owner says, she didn’t get ANY miles or TIME on this truck before she came out of pocket. And also don’t be fooled- he does not have a mechanic on site BUT he partners with a mechanic he takes all his cars he has purchased from auction to this one mechanic. He brags that most of his customers are women and that’s for good reason- easier to fool, swindle and manipulate women, right Ted?! Anything and everything that could go wrong with this truck went wrong- bad catalytic converters, faulty, leaking power steering pump and hoses broken TWICE within 12 months. And Ted had the NERVE to get upset and almost combative and be belligerent when questions were asked. Maybe because we were a mother and daughter coming to make the purchase. Typical treatment towards women making car purchases. Thought I could trust he wouldn’t take advantage of her but money is the bottom line here. Taking a huge gamble to give this man your business. Daughter barely got 7,000 miles in the year she had this truck before this thing had to be scrapped and sold. Was told there was A/C and it went out right after she bought it. Truck was sold with no heat. Had a really bad oil leak and was told it was an inexpensive fix by his mechanic-paid $1,500 within days of the purchase. Sensors in truck all faulty. This truck should have never been bought from auction by Ted to be resold, bottom line. Be careful and take the car YOUR mechanic to check it out first. Daughter lost thousands on the sale of this car as she had to come out of pocket for repairs as soon as she took the car off the lot and pay up the remaining amount of her loan to avoid rolling negative equity into another vehicle. I am very disappointed in Ted and this dealership. And if he claims he doesn’t know us, all it would take would be to check your official sales records and the last name will tell you all you need to know. Claiming he doesn’t know us like this is a fake review. Please, ridiculous!  I have given way too much detail to NOT be a customer AND know what I am talking about!  And just because he types in all caps doesn’t mean it’s the truth because it’s not. Be warned and if you choose to do business with him, insist on taking the car you are interested in yo an INDEPENDENT mechanic he does not know. Shame out her preying on female customers!
