Miller Big 40 Welder/Generator

This is a 1973 model Miller Big 40 gas powered DC welder. Very good condition. Starts right up and runs smooth. Welds great. Continental F163 engine Red Seal inline 4 cylinder flathead engine. Same motor as in the Lincoln machines. This welder is very large and powerful. Up to 400 amps welding current. Has two 120 volt outlets with 3,000 watts of AC power. Has the auto idle feature and it works like it should. Just did a bunch of maintenance work to the machine. Rebuilt carburetor, new distributor cap and rotor, upgraded from points to Pertronix electronic ignition, new plugs and wires, all new filters, fuel lines, oil change, coolant change, new voltage regulator and battery, and a new starter solenoid. The faceplate is faded so I made labels for all of the controls. Comes with 75 foot 2/0 heavy duty welding leads. It is full of fresh gas and ready to go to work. The unit weighs around 1,500 lbs. Does not come with the trailer it sits on.
