Yamaha Trombone with Trigger model YSL-448G Includes trombone, case, mouth piece, 3 cleaning brushes, cleaning rod, slide grease and lubricant. $750 OBO This model retails new for about $2,400. Mouthpiece is Vincent Bach model 6-1/2AL.  The trombone is in excellent condition.   The case is in overall great condition with some scuffs except for the break shown on a corner. This trombone is classified as an intermediate level with trigger and F attachment.  It is also a large bore.  A large bore trigger trombone will last through high school.  Generally, students that start on small bore trombones without triggers are ready to switch to a trigger trombone sometime during the 2nd or 3rd year of the student joining band. This specific model helps students with playing certain notes and positions, especially for young students that maybe shorter or have shorter arms.  It can be used as a beginner level as well.  It was purchased for my daughter last year as a 6th grade beginner band student and was the recommended model by the band director for all beginning band trombone players. THIS IS NOT THE YSL-354 MODEL (small shank, single slide) for beginners that some schools want.  If you get the YSL-354, there is a good chance you will be upgrading to the YSL-448G or similar within 1-2 years of initially beginning band.
