Description

Excellent condition. I just had the output cap replaced (the brick s**thouse was still on the original 25-yr-old one) and following that, I had the amp fully inspected with TLC and now it's ready to slay for its next owner. These are BEASTS, designed by James Brown (Peavey JSX, 5150, Rockmaster preamp, Ultra, PAG series, Triple X). It's tone-wise, along the lines of a Marshall JCM 800-900 goosed with a dirt box. Pull-knob on the gain channel adds an additional gain stage to the mix and really cooks. Active tone controls in the gain stage. These are a ton of fun to play and can do bedroom volumes well due to the "gradual-in-volume" volume knob Peavey used back then. It's not "zero sound" to "window rattling" like some so-called low watt amps. Bear in mind however, if you need it to, this amp can get LOUD and when connected to a 4x12, sounds insane. Stock speaker. No idiot mods done. Reverb works like a charm. Everything else works as it should. Zero issues. Amp is in great physical condition. This isn't a pawn shop special. I buy/sell guitar gear and this is probably my eighth or ninth Bravo since '91. They never disappoint. $250 firm. Price is not negotiable as in this condition, they usually move for $275-325. You can find 'em cheaper but they usually will look like they were dragged behind a bus and need about $150 to get 'em back up and running.
