Description

1976 orange and cream retro Apache Ramada HARD SIDED pop-up camper. These babies were built to last, definitely collectors items. THINGS TO KNOW: *takes a good 15-20 minutes for two people to set-up, and it requires some patience with getting it nice and level before setting up, once he's up he doesn't feel like a pop-up but more like a trailer. :) *sleeps SEVEN comfortably. *Propane stove WORKS propane furnace DOES NOT *Electric outlets work, however 12 Volt overhead lights do not *Sink works when hooked to water hook-up *Fridge DOES NOT work, it's clean inside and we used it as a pantry. *Weighs only 1900 lbs, we tow it with a small toyota pickup and a subaru outback just fine. *Newer good tires, solid spare. *3 of the Plexi glass windows need replacing. A suitable duct tape job has done just fine for the past few months though. :) *Floor and ceiling all sturdy with no leaks/rot or mold. The "bed end" walls appear to have leakage stains, but after sleeping multiple nights during rain storms we've concluded that they do not leak, but the stains might be from condensation in storage over the years? Not really sure, but again the bed end walls do not leak and we slept dry and cozy during rain. *"Rama" as we've come to call him is over 40 years old, so there is general wear and tear scratches and cracks here and there, but structurally for his age he's in good shape. *Very Clean, new custom curtains, table and seats all in great shape, cushions and covers in great shape as well. *we towed this over 1200 miles in the past few months, he's handled well but he does ride a little low and shows his age a bit here and there so ideally he wouldn't be a cross-country roadster anymore but more of a couple hours tow and then stay a while and then a couple hours home kind of guy. *As we stated before, he does take a little effort to set up. We have hime stored in a parking spot and so can't leave him set up, so only serious inquiries please as we will have to move...
