2004 Honda Element

At the moment needs rack and pinion rebuild or replacement. The steering works as it should but can hear a thumping noise when turning from side to side. if I had to guess there may be a clog inside the rack and pinion or just a loose component. Will likely end up replacing it myself but will end up raising the price afterwards. The check engine light is on due to an aftermarket catalytic because the original one was stolen couple years ago. Florida does not do emissions testing so nothing of too much importance. SRS light also on but nothing that needs immediate attention been driving with it on for the last few years Been doing nearly all my own maintenance on it since I've owned it. Probably rebuilt the suspension two times already. Painted it with Raptor Liner. And all oil changes done at proper intervals. Recently refreshed the brake calipers and rotors cleaned and re lubed caliper pins and hardware painted black and like a rust copper combination. Brake pads we're also replaced within the less 3 to 6 months. Brand new tires put on within the last two or three months. Have replaced water pump, alternator, engine mounts, upgraded speakers and radio with 10 inch screen, new radiator and AC pump, battery replaced about a year ago, starter, driver side window motor,. Within the last couple years I've changed most bushings around the wheels. Front and back still need to do 2 rear driver side knuckle bushings Within the last week did a transmission fluid change, rear differential fluid change, regular motor oil change, steering pump fluid change Will also throw in whatever extras that I have in storage for the car some spare new parts: Front driver side CV axle Rear adjustable control arm Suspension bushings Spare used OEM matching rim without a tire Unused alternator that appears to be new haven't used it but not sure of it's working condition Original used OEM headlight housing
