Description

019 Aliner Somerset (Fleetwood) E3 off road toy hauler pop up camper. This pop up is made to go off road. It has more ground clearance than my 4x4 F150. It has 15” LT tires unlike so many pop ups that have the tiny little rims and tires. It weighs 2908 lbs empty with a max weight of 4,400 lbs, so it can be towed by smaller SUV’s and trucks. Included is a leveling and sway bar kit with hitch. Most people don’t use a sway bar on a pop up but it does help when towing it. It has a cassette toilet (never used) and shower. King size beds on each end, slide out dining area, 2 burner stove, 15,000 BTU furnace, refrigerator, push button hot water tank ignition, radio with CD player with internal and external speakers. It has an awning that is almost the length of the roof, which is nice for shade and to sit under the awning during the rain. Electric lift to raise and lower the roof. This camper has a one piece aluminum roof! That is VERY IMPORTANT!! Prior to 2010 (see attached comments from an RV forum) the roof was a Filon roof, which is prone to leaking and ultimately put Fleetwood/Coleman out if business because of the roof warranty issues. The front “toy hauler” rack is great for dirt bikes, 4 wheeler or anything else like coolers, bicycles, firewood. The rails on the front deck also serve as ramps for loading and unloading dirt bikes or a 4 wheeler. I have camped in this camper in the winter in 5 degree weather at night and been very comfortable! I have many things that I do to keep it warm. I have put 1” R board under each bed to keep the cold out from underneath the mattress. I have “Reflectix” foil insulation for the bunk ends that fit in the openings for the windows and held in place by the canvas. I have insulated curtains that help hold in the heat. I also have a heavy insulated curtain material which I hang from floor to ceiling and side to side inside the camper which reduces the area you need to heat by about 60%. I use a Mr. Buddy heater on low and don’t need to be inside my sleeping bag because my bunk end is so warm. I have “Gekko” insulated bunk end covers (which are included with the camper) made by a company in Canada that cover the bunk ends and keep in the heat in the winter and are reversible with a reflective side to keep the camper cool in the summer. I’m the second owner. The first owner was older like me. He did many little “upgrades” to the camper to make it even better. I regularly clean the canvas and vinyl with 303 cleaner and then treat the vinyl with 303 protectant. My point is, this camper is well maintained. Camper has a cover to help protect it from the AZ sun while in storage. Also includes mattress covers for each bed. Asking $ 15,000 OBO According to https://offerup.com/redirect/?o=UlZ0cmFkZXIuY29t it’s got an average retail price of $20,150 (see pic) Check prices on https://offerup.com/redirect/?o=UlZ0cmFkZXIuY29t there’s a 2019 Somerset E3 WITHOUT the toy hauler front deck listed for $22,499 at Camping World in Mesa, so I think my price is more than fair and there isn’t one for sale that has the front deck. Call or text Glen at 4eight0four598six43 before 9PM See comment below from an RV forum for information regarding the roof as I mentioned above: “Hi, I'm the admin. for the Coleman Evolution forum on facebook and former JK owner. The thing you REALLY need to watch out for on the pre-2010 Evo's is the roof. That 2007 has a Filon roof which was a BIG mistake from the manufacturer. The group is having a lot of problems with theirs and the end result for us all is dumping upwards of $900+ into repairs or replacing the roof which is almost not possible since there is only "1" more replacement roof left from the supplier. Keep in mind that Fleetwood and FTCA (both makers of the Evolution models) are both out of the business of making Coleman campers because of the huge loss due to warranty claims on the roofs. The roof issue for Coleman campers is why Coleman campers are no longer around as of Jan. 2011. There wasn't a good solution to the decades old problem until 2010 with the "one piece" aluminum roof
