UPDATE. Truck now needs an engine. Still runs and drives but my mechanic says the motor is wore out. I have dropped the price to 700.00 firm. If interested in it come and look and I can give you more details on the engine issue. Truck can be driven for short distances before problem shows up. 2001 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. Truck has 291,000 miles on it currently. I have owned the truck for 3 years and have put 7000.00 in parts and labor. Tonneau cover has been sold When I bought the truck 3 yrs ago I put in a new computer, rear bumper, hitch,complete tuneup, crank sensor, all 4 O2 sensors, complete exhaust from manifolds back,power steering pump, battery, factory fuel pump. Within the last year the radiator, water pump, inner and outer tie rods were replaced. Just 2 weeks ago all 6 injectors, spark plugs and the cam sensor were replaced. I know there are things I’m forgetting that have been done. Now for the bad it needs a solenoid replaced in the transmission, intake gasket, has an exhaust manifold bolt is broken or missing and has a slight leak on start up but has passed inspection every year. Everything in the truck works except the ac. Also has a spray in bed liner. I am selling because I bought another truck. If your are good at working on cars the transmission issue and intake gasket isn’t to expensive to do. Only inquire if truly interested.
