"Le Réveil" (The Awakening) opalescent glass sculpture by Marius-Ernest Sabino, 17.2 cm. (6.8 in.), c. 1930. The most striking feature about opalescent glass is its milky, translucent quality, with a soft, internal glow. This characteristic is created by adding bone ash or other opacifying agents to the glass mixture. Sculpture is kept in a lockbox with soft foam. Price is negotiable, shoot me an offer.
