Description

Time to sell my beloved project car that has taught me so much. First of all, please read the whole ad. If push comes to shove just skim through and read the end. Thanks! This is an 02 Impreza Outback Sport that has been converted into a monster of a Subaru. The car has 318,000 miles on the body and the quarter panel rust shows. I came across a huge rust issue in the right rear strut tower about 2 months ago, so I did what no one else would do to a 17 year old car with 300k+ miles on it and put a killer “cage” into it to support the rear strut towers. The car does NOT have the original engine in it. It has a health Ej202 from J-Spec Auto (that I have proof of) and has roughly 80,000 miles on the engine itself (going off the 60,000 rough estimate that the importer estimates). Car also has had work done at GNG Motorsports and their work speaks for itself. This wagon obviously doesn’t sit at stock height on stock wheels because who would keep a subaru at StOcK height. It is lifted with 2001 Subaru Forester struts all the way around and a 2 inch ADF strut spacer in the front, and 40mm polyurethane strut spacer in the rear. Lifting the car about 3 inches from stock height and roughly 17 inches off the ground to the rocker panel. It rides on 29.75’ BF Goodrich KO2 tire’s that are 225/75/16’s with Motegi MR139’s. The lift kit and tires were installed August of 2018. And before you go saying “that’s not possible to fit those”. WELL, yes the fenders are cut a good amount. The interior- Has WRX front seats that has little to no tears at all and a crazy cool pineapple headliner. Also has a aftermarket pioneer bluetooth head unit that is wired up to 2 12 inch Kenwood Subwoofers. All seats fold up and down fine and the cage in the rear tucks right under the rear seat like it was made just for the car. Some things I may have missed: -Deleted muffler with 1320 blast pipes -New shifter bushing -Off brand roof bars and rack. -Big light bar that lights up the road 50 feet in front of you and is great for spotting deer. -Front bumper cut for better clearance -Stock OEM headlights with black spray painted housings and amber delete. -Custom rear tubing cage that is rino coated in Rino Liner. -Ice blue gauge pod lights. -2 inch wheel spacers -a set of 4 subaru legacy OEM wheels and tires that have half tread left. (one on top of car) The bad stuff- Has NO heat. The heater core is bipassed because of a leak and I have a heater core to replace it, but it is not a fun job. I have attempted to fix it, but I beefed away from it because it simply does not bother me (fair warning, it bothers the girl friend). It may need brakes soon. The rotors are warped and the steering wheel shakes under heavy braking. Nothing major to drive around town everyday like I do. It does have an ABS light on for some reason, just never addressed it. Also has brake light that stays on in cold weather, but not warm. Needs to adjust hand brake I believe. Hasn’t affected the drivability. I have had so much fun with this car, but it’s time to let go of it to fund another Subaru. I have pushed this car to its limits and it has preformed fantastic and never let me down. I would trust it driving it up and down the whole east coast. I am OPEN to offers and cash talks. NOT looking to trade. Message me for any pictures, questions, and stuff
