New Unopened Garmin Edge 1040 GPS bike computer. I took a picture of the seal to show it is unopened. If you see it listed for $450 at a retailer you pay the 10% tax = $495. Is the warranty worth that extra? Will the unit develop problems? Not likely. I've used Garmin devices for over 20 years and I have never had a problem. I still have my Edge 1000, 810 and 500 from 15 years ago and it works perfectly. You don't have to pay the additional 10% tax. Retails $599.
