The tobacco sunburst Yamaha FS700S is a concert-size, steel-string acoustic guitar which borrows its design concept from the flagship LS series. The small body lends itself to a precise, smooth response, strong mid-range, and a sweet, focused tone that makes it an ideal choice for recording or fingerpicking. The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top with nato back and sides, a 25" scale nato neck with a rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge, and a gloss finish. The guitar also features die-cast chrome tuners, and a tortoise pickguard. It is designed to serve as an affordable, yet high-quality, small-body folk guitar. (It designed as a parlor-sized guitar, although it’s slightly longer than a typical parlor instrument.) The other important feature is the fully bound body. Binding areound the edges acts as a shop absorber, protecting the wood!
