Works but needs work. I did a thorough a test of this as i could. I did not have a blank VHS tape to test. It seems like it wants to work. I was able to test most functions with a Walt Disney tape. But, here are what is working and what is not working: Working: The tape controls all work. And it plays tapes. The eject works fine. Not working: The output jack does not seem to put an output to my monitor. The viewfinder is fuzzy. I don't see what I have it pointed at in the viewfinder. I also do not see the Disney tape in the viewfinder as I should. Summary: This might  record properly. I currently do not have a blank tapes but, will test recording if I get one. I just don't think it will. Playing tapes may improve by pushing video control buttons. I'm not that hip tomdoing that, so I don't. Might not improve. It is probably going to need some work.
