Description
Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but these plant sales are so delightful. And since we've all no place to go, let us show plants in the snow, in the snow, in the snow. Just because there’s snow on the ground doesn’t mean that show won’t go on. Please, drive safe, dress warm, wear slip resistant boots, and do keep my plant sales in mind! Pottery and plants are available for sale from 9 to 5 in (not so) sunny Sherrelwood, right off Highway 36 and the Pecos exit, just as they are every weekend, without exception. Except, there might be an exception. Christmas is in two weeks and the 26th, the day after Xmas, falls on a Saturday. My intention is to remain open as I always would, but I’d like to hear from my customers first. If you needed a pot or a plant on that day, would you still come? Or is the 26th a day of vegetation and item returns? I’m guessing lots of people will be out doing the latter, so I plan on being available. Should you be interested now, then, or later, feel free to make plans to visit my shop. Or drop me a line at: << 909 >> << 744 >> << 7708 >> Glazed ceramic pots make great gifts, and we have terracotta and resin pottery as well. The majority of my plants are of the cactus and succulent sorts, but there are others beyond cacti and succulents. There’s lavender in pre-planted planters, a smattering of pothos, and plenty of snake plants for all. Prices typically range from $10 to $40 on the pots and plants, though the largest ceramics can approach $100. Feel free to ask about my $20 14-inch tall pot (pictured in the snow) or $45 16-inch wide planters as great options to add color without a hefty cost. I’ve always bundled items to give customers great cash discounts, but I’m also known to give a free pot, plant, or two to those who support this small business. Like the theme of this post, I’m always available rain or shine on the weekends, but I do make it to the shop midweek on occasion as well. Feel free to reach out with your schedule and we can attempt to coordinate. Here are some of the free items I offer with absolutely no purchase necessary: Broken pottery / terracotta + ceramic shards Packaging materials Pallets Plant cuttings when available Individual clay pots for kids Snow angel instruction Plastic nursery pots including the hanging baskets Beer slushies while supplies last (bring a cup, question any non freshly fallen snow) Friendship, of course Of course you knew that last one was coming. You also knew the pottery jargon was just around the corner too: Also, one more thing, I’m working with a muralist to bring lots of custom artwork to life on my white concrete planter series. Take a look at some of the initial designs, provide feedback, and let me know what’d like to see and purchase going forward.
