The chain is genuine solid sterling silver and is stamped "ITALY 925" on the lobster clasp. It is a classic Cuban link style that sits flat and is very durable. The 3D basketball pendant is an awesome interactive piece, and the basketball rim/net under the ball actually spins around. It carries shiny FAKE faux diamonds (clear CZ crystals) on the ball and rim. NOTE : While the chain is real silver, the pendant/diamonds are fake (just metal)/fashion costume jewelry with fake simulated stones .
