Oscar Schmidt OE20 Les Paul with EMG Super 77 humbuckers!

Yes, I took a $150 beginner's guitar and installed $200 active pickups powered by recharable lithium polymer battery. Why? Because I wanted something better than the best Epiphone while I save up for my Gibson ES Les Paul Memphis! This is a set neck LP remake, not a bolt on like other cheap competitors. It seems Washburn did a lot right with this from the get go. They just used cheap electronics. Message me, and I'll send you a link of me playing it. When I acquired this guitar, she had been setup poorly - intonation was very off and the neck was not straight. She also had not been played since bought new. The neck is now straight with low action and intonation is perfect. She is currently strung with Pure Blues 9's (strung in October). Not pictured are the new selector switch, which I will have installed by the time you come see her in person.
