This is one you don't see pop up every day. Still has the plastic on the back plates, has the original hang tag, packing list thingy, and aside from a little natural patina on the knobs, she's just like new. I got this one to record rhythm guitar tracks in the studio, and that's the only use it has seen over the years. Probably been played a total of 12 times, less than half an hour each time. So there is no fret wear or damage anywhere on it aside from any factory imperfections that were known to happen with these satin-finish tops. This one was bought new in 2001, set up for 11 gauge strings and is a very solid, weighty piece of wood. Only selling this because my fiance got me a newer Gretsch with a Bigsby in a custom color that I had been wanting, and I don't want to see this one sitting around collecting dust. The bridge pickup has all the bite that you could ask for, and the neck pickup gets those really creamy, almost Les Paul sounds. Did not originally come with a case or gig bag, but I believe I have a gig bag lying around I'd be willing to include oh, because you don't want this baby rolling around in the backseat unprotected. Might wiggle a little bit on the price for a quick cash sale just to get room on my rack back, but not interested in low-ball offers or trades. Pick this thing up before I change my mind. :-)
