Description
This is a beautiful set of three (3) vintage framed lithograph prints of ballet dancers, known as "Ballet Interpretation" by the artist Sophie. These pieces are true vintage decorative art, commonly dated to the 1930s to 1940s. The prints feature a soft, often sepia-toned or charcoal aesthetic with striking gold/yellow highlights on the ballerinas' tutus, capturing the grace of the dance. Titles/Scenes often included in this series are: • "Pas De Deux" (The central print with the male and female dancer) • "Arabesque" or "Attitude" (The single ballerina print) • The third print shows a group of dancers. The frames are original and show characteristic vintage wear, often referred to as a "shabby chic" look. • Please note the close-up photo showing some chipping and paint loss on the decorative edges and sides of the frame. This is consistent with the age and material of the circa 1930s-1940s frames. • The prints appear to be in good condition behind the glass, with beautiful color and detail for their age.
