Description
Rare CRISA antique (1930’s estimated) 5 gallon glass water bottle. Ceramic crock dispenser with stainless handle spigot. This spigot does not leak a single drop (as do the pull-tab type spigots). It uses a large stainless ball-bearing for the valve mechanism and should last indefinitely. Top of ceramic crock has silicone rim to prevent scratching bottle. Crock has blue shades in the pattern which match the bottle nicely. You may find CRISA embossed 5gl bottles (embossed on the bottom) but rare to find the checkered bottle with “GREAT BEAR” embossed title and logo on the side. This bottle has the subtle “rippling” and touch of purple hue to the blue tint, which only comes with decades of aging. Will sell with darker wood bar-stool for additional $25 (this barstool is a set of two which I will sell together for $35) or with the light oak stand for no additional charge. The silicone tubing (food grade silicone) for filling is 1/2” inside-diameter and will siphon-fill the 5 Gal bottle in about a minute. You place one 5 Gal full water bottle on your kitchen counter, the CRISA bottle on the floor below, and the tubing allows easy, mess-less transfer to fill the glass bottle. I have had many compliments and comments from people who visit (as you will too) and wish I had a place for this where I’m moving. Enjoy it!
