Beneath the comfort layer, there’s a 1.7 lb./cu.ft. layer of standard polyurethane foam to enable the mattress to support the weight of the sleeper. These layers are topped off with a polyester / rayon fiber wadding, and altogether, the mattress achieves a height of 7.1”. The lining consists of non-woven polypropylene, and the ticking is a blend of cotton, polyester and rayon – pretty much what you’d expect from a product at this price. You shouldn’t confuse the high-resilience layer to mean durability that is on par with higher priced products – it is just present to give it an edge over the immediate competition.
