I have owned this bike for 10 years, but I don’t ride it much anymore so it’s time to say goodbye. I just gave the bike a light tune up, cleaned up the chain and frame, and rewrapped the handlebars with brand new tape. This bike is ready to ride for someone on the smaller size. I’m unsure about the specific frame size, but I am 5’3” and it has been a wonderful bike for me and my short legs. Tubes in good condition, brakes can be tightened a bit depending on your preference, and I am willing to throw in the front and rear lights and a U lock if you are willing to pay full price. The Diamond Back Avenir frame is somewhat rare, and the detail work at the joints—namely the use of multiple pieces and the “molding” feature—is simply not done anymore with road bikes. If you’re into the vintage look, you’re on the shorter side, and you don’t mind a well loved bicycle, this is the bike for you.
