My family ended up finding a warehouse business that had a large stockpile of hand sanitizer left over from covid. Its recent efficacy test indicates it is pure and still over 80% pure ethyl alcohol (higher than the company advertises) despite its expiration date. Anybody who needs large quantities of hand sanitizer should definitely be interested! 5$ a gallon but willing to go lower if bought in bulk… small containers are also available. We are currently using it to run on our blades for our wood sawmill to keep them free from pitch.
