In great condition with the exception of occasional loud fan noise when compressor kicks in (for 1-2 minutes every hour). Rest of the time it works quietly. May be a problem in a dorm or something, but not a problem if no one is in the same room sleeping etc. I haven’t tried to fix the problem, so it may be an easy fix (Amazon sells a new fan for $26). I judge this fridge’s value at $200 if this issue wasn’t present, so I’m firm on $40 as is. Again, there is no other problem with it, it cools well. It's very clean, there are no smells. The highest setting cools down the fridge to 20F (so a medium setting should get you to the recommended range for fridge products, which is between 34F and 40F). This is double the size of standard 3.0 dorm fridges, making it perfect for dorms, garages and compact living spaces.
