Please NO LOWBALL OFFERS! This Ed Roos Co. Forest Park Line, vintage antique cedar hope chest on caster wheels is in good original condition considering its age. It does have a split down top board that can be easily repaired or leave as-is since it lends to its uniqueness! It was made in Forest Park, Illinois by the Ed Roos Company who were in business between 1916 and 1951. It has brass design plates on corners and in front. and the original lock mechanism inside has been removed for safety, but a locking latch was added. Hope Chests made by the Ed Roos Company are highly desired by antique collectors everywhere.
