Description

I have a 2006 VW GTI MKV. Car is equipped with the 2.0T BPY FSI engine and 6 speed manual transmission. The car currently has 199k miles on it. I've owned itfor 13 years and have put about 111k miles on it. The majority of the mileage is highway mileage, as I've worked 45 minutes from home for over 10 years and have shared daily duties between my GTI and various other vehicles that I have went through. The car has had many repairs/upgrades over the years that I have had it, and it has never left me stranded any where. The good: Comes with a bunch of extra parts, some new that I never got a chance to put on before I stopped driving it. The car runs, drives, and has no check engine lights Heated leather seats in pretty good shape and fully functioning Sunroof works Automatic Climate Control still works properly Self-leveling HID headlights work great. Handles great Nearly-new tires all the way around Lots of newer parts Just passed e-check in February The Bad: Windshield is pretty cracked. Doesn't leak. I drove it like it is for a year or so. Caught a chunk of asphalt that a Semi threw up. The engine leaks oil. I believe the bearing in the turbo went bad and its leaking oil into the boost tube. This is in the reason I stopped driving the car. Front fenders are pretty rotted like most other mk5's are Has a little rust else where and the paint is pretty chipped. The underside is in great shape though. Sharkfin antenna cover is broken off, but have a complete used one that comes with the car. The brake pad warning has been on since I bought the car. There is a break in the harness somewhere. I never bothered with it. The headliner sags Recent work: Less than 10k miles on: Set of 4 225/45/17 Mastercraft Avenger M8 tires New OE valvecover Upgraded piston-style Rev D diverter valve Bilstein B6 rear shocks Alignment Less than 20k miles on: Both front axles Both front wheel bearings Front brake pads, rotors, pin boots Timing belt kit Water Pump Cam follower Spark Plugs Aftermarket modifications I remember installing: BSH front PCV block off kit ECS Tuning aluminum oil filter housing kit Eurosport carbon fiber intake -has seen better days, but comes with stock intake stuff and filter Whiteline Caster increasing poly lower control arm mounts Poly Dogbone mount insert Upgraded ignition coils Parts that come with the car: 2 Brand new front struts- Duralast ST33-13151b 2 Brand new front strut mounts- KYB SM5567 New OE intake manifold gasket- 06F129717D 10 new subframe bolts- n10505602 1 extra d2s xenon headlight bulb original RF axle- still in decent condition, just replaced the pair together Used sharkfin antenna to replace one currently on car 4 original ignition coils- work fine, replaced them all before I took a road trip just to be safe 2 used cam followers- each have a little wear, but could still be used if needed All the original lug bolts and wheel locks- has longer bolts on it currently due to OZ's that I had on it. I just left them on when I went back to stock wheels 18 plastic lug bolt caps original plastic oil filter housing used OE diverter valve- works, just replaced based on mileage original front PCV and hose Overall, there's a lot of good still in this car and a lot of newer parts either on the car already or sitting in the hatch for the new owner. Vehicle can be driven now, but I wouldn't drive it a ton until that turbo is replaced. Looking for $2000, located in Akron Ohio
