This is a premium, top-of-the-line sleep system that retails for much, much higher. We are only selling because we are moving. It has provided us with incredible comfort and support, and we hope it finds a great new home! It's been used with a mattress protector its entire life. Please Note: The only flaw is on the adjustable base itself. The fabric covering on the bottom skirt has been scratched up by our cats (see photos). This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the incredible performance or functionality of the base in any way.
