Description

Previously used 10R80 Sun Gear #4 and Shell assembly. HL3Z-7D062-A Slightly worn but, part can be cleaned and refurbished. Slight brinelling of internal splines at E clutch friction plate alignment tabs not deep enough to affect movement can be sanded. Axial bushing no wear which catches on fingernail. Axial sun gear 4 internal honed/crosshatch un-disturbed. T6 and T7 Thrust surfaces both show minor wear but, functionally ok. Forward ridge slight external wearing normal, rear axial face at sun gear no. 4 free of wear. Component is Sun Shell with sun gear no. 4 welded to e clutch shell to make assembly. Balance markings present and 4 total balance holes in shell. Component as is could be cleaned and installed without immediate issue but internal spline brinelling should be corrected to last longer.
