Duntech High End Speakers Ambassador XL C500

Pair of Duntech Ambassador XL C500 floorstanding column speakers are available now. This is the XL model with 8" passive side firing woofers, dual 6 1/2" mid bass/midrange and 1" soft dome tweeter. Speakers are in excellent functioning condition, cabinets have some bumps and bruises but have been touched up and are quite presentable. Grills are near perfect.  Size 48"H x 9 1/4"W x 14"D.  Duntech is known as one of the highest end speakers that were ever available, made in Australia. They utilize high end drivers from Vifa and Seas and audiophile grade capacitors from Bennic in the crossovers.  20Watts - 200Watts 4 ohms. These are big, heavy speakers weighing about 80lbs each. They require a large room for proper listening. They should be at least 8 feet apart and 12 feet minimum from the listener. Higher powered amplifiers are recommended but they will play just fine with 40 watts.  If you're into or getting into high end audio, these speakers would be an excellent choice. Need to move these along as there is not nearly enough room for them in my situation.  New retail in 1996 $3000 Pair $500 NW Chicago at Devon and Milwaukee.
