The set was finished with several coats of water based and food safe poly for protection and durability. These vintage chairs are very sturdy and heavy. They have been newly reupholstered/cushioned with a beautiful black and white toile print. Seat fabric has been Scotch-guarded. The table top has a few very small dings and dents. The table sides extend; however, the leaves are no longer with this set.
