Description

Vintage silver sommelier tastevine with chain gold tone and silver plate bowl. It is beautifully designed and the bowl has a magnificent pattern reminiscent of the eighteenth century, The silver tastevine were used by wine maker in 1850 as a tasting bowl. It has a gold tone on the chain and inner side of the cup and silver in the back of the bowl as shown in the photographs. The back of the bowl has 3 stamps of the maker and I am doing research on the stamps because they have significant value about the maker and provenance. The weight is 5oz The cup is 3” 1/2 wide. The length from cup to the top of the chain is 22”1/2 long.
