Vintage, mid century modern high-back 'Recliner 74' lounge chair designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin Inc. furniture company. Recliner wood frame and the mechanics of the recliner are in good condition. The chair could be used as is but would benefit from being reupholstered and two wood joints are loose and should be repaired. Great candidate for restoration. Classic lounge chair with black vinyl, and exposed sculpted wood legs. The Recliner 74 Chair was first introduced in 1965/66 and was manufactured until 1971. The chair for sale includes original manufacturer tags and was made on 5-2-1967, making it an earlier example. Chair Measures 29" W x 26" D x 42" H back rest (upright).
