Description
Selling my Porter Cable PCE211 1/2in 120V impact wrench. Asking $60. Make me an offer. I bought it about a year ago (just found the receipt, 6/10/2018. PC has a 3yr warranty on their power tools) but just got a cordless model so I won’t be using this thing much anymore. Still in great condition, had a little scratch from laying it on the garage floor but it works like new since it wasn’t abused at a shop all day. I probably only used it 5 or 10 times since I took it out of the box. This impact wrench is a great tool for DIY mechanics and weekend warriors, one of those things that you never realized you needed until you buy one. This is the way to go for weekenders who want more power but don’t want to invest in a huge air compressor. Even if you’re simply rotating your tires, you can save half an hour of leaning on the breaker bar and then twisting the lug nuts all the way off and back on. It’s not the most powerful stud-shearing tool from Milwaukee or DeWalt, but it also doesn’t cost $400 or require a compressor and will work far better than the disposable Harbor Freight China Special. It’s rated at 450ft-lbs of torque via the subjective marketing department torque tests that the tool companies use, but I will say that it hammers loose nuts and bolts that had me putting my body weight onto a 25in breaker bar and gets into spots where you don’t have space to swing a 4ft long cheater pipe on the end of a wrench. This seems to be one of the most powerful 1/2in impacts you can find that doesn’t need an air supply or a $150 battery. These impacts have great reviews online and it’s an awesome tool to have in the garage if you want to save time and strength. When your wife ruins your Sunday afternoon by mentioning to her cousin that you’re good at fixing cars and she shouldn’t spend $800 at the dealer because you can get it done for only the cost of parts, you can speed up the job with your PCE211 and still catch the 2nd half of the game and see the Canes blow...
