**Terrible Experience at Mitsubishi 8000 West Freeway**

My husband and I visited the Mitsubishi dealership at 8000 West Freeway with the intention of exploring and possibly purchasing a vehicle. We were initially shown some used cars, but the salesman, Damian Murillo, quickly shifted our attention to the 2024 Mitsubishi SUVs. Interested in the vehicle, we started the financing process, but our experience rapidly went downhill from there.

After spending an exhausting amount of time at the dealership, we were given the runaround repeatedly. When Damian finally returned, he informed us that my husband had been approved for financing—with a shockingly high 18% interest rate. When I expressed concern, Damian agreed it was high but shrugged it off, saying it was due to a lack of credit history. Unhappy with the loan terms, we attempted to walk away three times. Each time, Damian delayed us, giving vague answers about how long our application would be valid, stating it could range from 7 to 30 days, depending on the lender.

As we were about to leave to evaluate our finances, Damian brought in his manager, Rick. Rick, wearing a black cowboy hat and boots, had a sour demeanor and never once smiled during our conversation. He repeatedly assured us that we could refinance the loan in 6-12 months for a better interest rate but neglected to mention that the inflated price they were charging for the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander (which we later found for $27,000 on Carvana) would result in significant depreciation. This would likely make refinancing impossible. They quoted us $837.96 per month for 72 months, totaling over $60,332 on a $36,000 loan! That’s almost double the amount borrowed.

Exhausted and worn down by the late hour, we reluctantly signed the contract and put down a $1,000 payment. At no point were we informed that this down payment was nonrefundable. It was only after the payment was processed that we were handed a receipt that stated "no refunds." This is something they should disclose *before* taking anyone’s money.

We didn’t take the car home that night and after sleeping on it, we decided the deal was not in our best interest. When we returned to the dealership to cancel the purchase, Rick was visibly angry. He rudely stated, "I could have sold the car by now" and reminded us that no one forced us to sign the contract. Despite our situation, he refused to refund our down payment.

This dealership does not have its customers' best interests at heart. They use obscure lending companies with extremely high interest rates and pressure tactics to trap you in unfavorable deals. If your finance company is Lendbuzz, Flagship Credit Acceptance, Cinch Auto Finance, 1803 Capital LLC, Foursight Credit Acceptance, or anything with "Credit Acceptance" in the name, **do not sign**. Also, educate yourself on simple interest loans before you purchase a vehicle. We learned the hard way—don’t make the same mistake.

Well I'll say this much they tried. Not as much as other dealerships but more than the other Mitsubishi dealers. But as seems to be the consensus and running theme they got me there saying that I was approved just to deny my application they said zero down payment but the first thing that was asked was how much was I going to put down. They said they didn't need a co-signer but asked me for a co-signer then denied her and made me walk home knowing I was being dropped off at the dealership with the expectation of driving home and knowing that I live a good 30 minute drive highway away. Now that's a good 25 miles but if you're familiar with the are that's from White Settlement to just about Burleson on the edge of Crowley and Burleson, TX.
