Bastet was primarily known as the goddess of protection, pleasure, and the bringer of good health. She was also associated with the home, domesticity, fertility, childbirth, and cats. Appearance: Bastet was typically depicted as a woman with the head of a domestic cat, or sometimes as a full cat.
