1979 Mercedes-Benz 300

This is a 1979 Mercedes 300 SD Turbo Diesel. This vehicle needs a lot of TLC, but it’s mainly cosmetic. It runs fine. Motor runs great. Electrical needs to be fixed, needs a passenger door latch, needs bolts for the driver seat, radiator needs re-threading and repair or replacement, needs a new thermostat, a new antenna, and the front axle rods need to be replaced. We also replaced the water pump. These are minor repairs for someone who can both afford the time and money to get these parts and fix it. This vehicle is ideal for a collector or for someone who likes to fix old cars. It is a Classic and as I said, it runs great. It’s also 5 cylinders, so it’s very economical. Especially since it’s diesel. Oil filter, Oil, Fuel filter, and Air filter have been changed as of 03/17/2026. It also has a brand new car battery that was purchased about a month ago. Registration has recently been renewed till March 2027. Also, I have not driven this vehicle long distances in years. That isn't to say that it can't, but because it's old and has issues with the electrical system, I prefer to drive it locally. If you want to drive it a long distance, do so at your own discretion.
