Truly Stunning Very Rare Antique Gold Leaf Temple Rubbing 48"×60"

Simply compare to other temple rubbings these are hands down some of the finest examples of antique gold leaf temple rubbings nearly 100 yrs old it measures out at a massive 48" x 62" my grandmother had these appraised in 1990 this high caliber example was appraised at 3k to 3.5k. What seperates these from other temple rubbings. The teqnique in which they were made fir starters most temple rubbings are just that a quick rubbing by placing typically rice paper againt the carving and going over or rubbing with graphite . These ones are made wirh a black paper mache type material that was wet upon placement and then carefully molded to capture the awsome detsils and clarity wirh deep relief to realky capture a 3d look highlighted at the highest points with 24k gold leaf to seperate the black background from the image.
