In 2018 we purchased a brand new ShiftPod 2 as well as the rare ShiftPod tunnel connector. This tunnel connector is also compatible with ShiftPod III and III+. This tunnel connector conjoins two ShiftPods to create significant extra storage space or a community vibe with two connected tents. It is compatible with connecting: • SHIFTPODIII • SHIFTPOD2 We never used the tunnel connector and it has been kept sealed in its box and plastic wrapping in our climate controlled indoor garage. For the auction, we opened the box up and photographed it but because we don’t have two ShiftPods to show you the tunnel, the photograph doesn’t really show the tunnel very well. These tunnel connectors are always sold out and very hard to find. They cost $200 new plus tax and shipping, and because this one never been used, we are asking the new price but offering free shipping. This is in mint condition and ships for free from Seattle. This is an outstanding way to free up floor space in your ShiftPod by putting all your gear inside the tunnel, such as shoes, boxes bags, and so forth. The tunnel is rain resistant, but they are not designed to be completely closed off from the elements. There is a tough black nylon floor of the tunnel, but there are spaces where the elements can get in by-design, but overall it’s about 95% sealed from nature except for flooding or some crawling bugs. Also, if you are camping with friends or family, it’s a fun way to interconnect your ShiftPods so that you have a more intimate community village vibe to your camping arrangement.
